‘Wholesome Prison Blues’. 🍎 Our next single is a song I wrote after falling into a fever dream on my work break at the Old Castlemaine Gaol. A story about a woman who played piano at all the honky tonks, and kept a gun in her boot while she played to fend off the drunks. She ends up accidentally shooting a man who tried to steal her boots off her while she was playing, and gets 20 years in the can.
